CALL TO ACTION!
Arizona’s Got "Georgia on My Mind"
NAACP Tucson Branch Supports National Civic Engagement Initiatives
Election efforts are not over. On January 5, 2021, Georgia voters will have an opportunity to vote in the Georgia Senate runoff. So much is at stake. Georgia’s two open seats could tip the balance of the U.S. Senate. This will affect our lives for years to come through Senate votes on issues like COVID-19 relief, healthcare, systemic racism, income inequality and environmental justice.
Even though Arizona voters will not be voting, Arizonans can contribute to Black voter turnout by volunteering our time to call or text Georgia voters.
Join the Political Action Committee as we support the Georgia NAACP by contacting Georgia voters.
Sign up at www.naacp.org/GA-runoff
Once you sign up, a list of names and contact information will be sent to you on or about December 15th. Reach out to the Georgia voters and encourage them to vote on January 5, 2021.
The Political Action Committee will host a Virtual Georgia Call & Text Hour on Saturday, December 19, 2020 @ 11:00AM (Arizona). You can designate this time to reach out to the individuals on your list.
