  1. Increase Branch Visibility in the Tucson Community.

  2. Conduct Volunteer Activities/Service in the Community.

  3. Partner with other Groups and Organizations to expand Reach, Assistance, and Awareness.

  4. Collect Skillset Information from Members Willing to Present Hot Topics of Interest.

  5. Help Organizations Trying to Assist Families and Individuals who Cross the U.S. Border without Documentation.

  1. Automatic Voting Rights Restoration.

  2. Address and Change Criminalization behind Drug Possession Offenses.

EDUCATION

  1. Educate General Members and the Local Community on Topics Associated with Educational Issues and Activities.

  2. Provide Workshops on Educational Topics, Résumés, and Job Preparation.

FINANCE

  1. Maintain a Financial Record for Expenses and Income for the Tucson Branch.

  2. Provide a Monthly Treasurer's Report.

  3. Advise the Tucson Branch of any Budgetary Shortfalls.

  1. Plan the 100th Annual Freedom Fund Dinner.

  2. Monitor and Manage all Freedom Fund Dinner-Related Details.

HEALTH

  1. Inform Members and the Local Community of Health Risks Affecting the Community and Remedies.

  2. Host a Health Fair.

HOUSING

  1. Stay current on the City of Tucson/Pima County housing issues, dealing with homelessness and HUD programs like Section 8.

  2. Explore ways to assist with housing issues with the City of Tucson/Pima County.

  3. Conduct meet and greets with the City of Tucson Housing Director.

  4. Invite the City of Tucson Housing Administrator to speak on current housing issues.

  5. Explore how homelessness affects people of color in the local community.

  6. Conduct educational webinars on home buying assistance programs for minorities and provide education combating racial disparities regarding the home buying process.

LEGAL REDRESS

  1. Resolve Legal Complaints Filed with the Tucson Branch of the NAACP.

  2. Keep a Record of Actions Taken.

  3. Investigate Complaints received from the Community.

MEMBERSHIP & LIFE MEMBERSHIP

  1. Update the Membership Rosters.

  2. Maintain a List of the Active, Inactive, Renewed, and Deceased Memberships.

  3. Reach out to the General Membership and Local Community to Poll What they Wish to See the Tucson Branch Achieve.

  4. Develop Workshops and Events to Advance Membership Involvement.

  5. Maintain Expedient and Focused General and Executive Meetings.

  6. Increase Community Visibility.
