The Criminal Justice Committee seeks to eliminate harsh and unfair sentencing practices, advance effective law enforcement practices, and fight for the restoration of voting rights.

The Education Committee seeks to eliminate segregation and other discriminatory practices in public education, advocate for diverse representation throughout the learning experience, and aim to be a center of community education on issues affecting Black communities.

The Freedom Fund Committee organizes the Freedom Fund event.

The Health Committee works to promote, protect, and maintain healthy living for Black people, assesses the health needs of the community, and advocates for equal access to health education, care, treatment, and research for all.

The Housing Committee studies housing conditions in the local community, seeks to address complaints of housing discrimination, and opposes all public and private restrictive housing practices.

The Political Action Committee seeks to increase voter registration and voting, work for the enactment of municipal, state, and federal legislation designed to improve the educational, political, and economic status of minority groups, repeal racially discriminatory legislation, and work to improve the administration of justice, and secure equitable law enforcement.
